The stand alone bin is 4 feet wide, 32" depth, 38" height at the back and 31" height at the front with a 15° sloped lid to allow snow to slide off. The hinges are strong and there is a chain to prevent the lid from opening too far. These bins are screwed together with quality fasteners and maximum strength construction adhesive is used in the important places to prevent product failure. They are tough! Dozens survived a hurricane but they are not as tough as a snow plow, so keep this in mind when choosing placement. The bin with compost parking is 76' total length. The XL double bin is 8' long and ideal for a large family or multi unit building. There are cheaper options available on marketplace but remember cheap isn't great and great isn't cheap.
